New School Year has CSPJ Ready to Roll!

September 9, 2016

Catholic Schools for Peace and Justice is excited for the 2016-2017 school year!  After a meeting of the leadership committee, the school year has been mapped out so that all of our meetings and events are planned.

With the new school year there are some changes.  First, our Rally for Life in Downtown Cleveland has been moved to October 20th this year.  Details will be forthcoming soon so that all schools that wish to participate will have all the information.

Before that large event though, there are two smaller but important ones coming up.  The first is an adults only gathering at Townhall on West 25th Street.  This is an opportunity for our adult moderators and prospective adult leaders to meet and network.

Also, our first meeting will be held at Padua Franciscan High School on Wednesday, October 5th.  The meeting will begin at 4:17pm and students and adults alike are welcome.  Other meetings for this school year will be:

January 11th at Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School at 4:17pm

April 26th at St. Ignatius High School at 4:17pm for our final meeting of the year and awards ceremony

Finally, CSPJ is excited to announce that we will have a major summit focusing on the issue of Migration this coming Spring.  Details will also be forthcoming for this event as all are invited to attend.
